It’s not just California over crowding in schools and budject cuts are all over. Mismanagement of funds seem to be the main problem becouse the money is there it simply is not being used correctly.
I agree that mismanagement of funds many times is a problem but I do think the main problem is lack of funds. Whenever there is an economic crisis the budget cuts usually hit first and the hardest on education.
The problem is not lack of funds, there is plenty of money, it’s lack of educated people spending it on the right issues.
I’m not very familiar with the situation in California and assumed that besides the money being wrongly spent, there just wasn’t much of it to go around (which is the case with situations I am familiar with).
Thanks for clarifying, JP Epstein. I thought “Hope” was very well done and enjoyed watching. The short was a great way to create awareness and inform and it certainly did for me.
