Congratulations go out to Justin today for winning the PRISM award for ‘Male Performance in a Drama Series Multi-Episode Storyline’! The storyline for which his performance was awarded by the Entertainment Industries Council was the season 10 storyline between Alex and his drug-addicted father Jimmy (played by the immensely talented James Remar who was also nominated). The 18th Annual PRISM Awards ceremony will air on the FX network in September. I’ll post the date and time here at the site when they’re available.
I added a few pics of Justin at the awards last night including one with his Grey’s Anatomy co-star Chandra Wilson who won for ‘Female Performance in a Drama Series Multi-Episode Storyline’. Click on the link for the album.

This is very cool news. I’m so happy for Justin. He really deserved this. He is a great actor and doesn’t always get enough appreciation for that. So it’s great that he did win this time.
And damn, does he look cute with the glasses. I wonder why we rarely see him with them. I guess he only needs them for reading?
Alex’s father coming back into his life was such a big thing for the character and Justin really delivered. It’s great that his performance has been acknowledged.
He can pull off the glasses look, but I’m not a fan of this particular pair. 😆
