★ The Winter (mid-season) finale of Grey’s Anatomy aired last night and ABC released six stills of the big Alex and Jo moment and a behind-the-scenes photo of Justin, Ellen Pompeo, Camilla Luddington and Caterina Scorsone filming the carpool scene. ★ Yesterday, Jessica Capshaw posted this cute selfie with Justin during the table read for Grey’s episode 12.12.

 
★ With the Winter finale having aired, Grey’s Anatomy is once again on hiatus until February 11 when it returns with episode 12.09 titled “The Sound of Silence”.

There isn’t a promo with new scenes yet, but here’s a promo teasing the return of the TGIT lineup in 12 weeks.

A couple of BTS pics taken on the set of Grey’s Anatomy were posted on Instagram. I’m unsure of the day or during which episode they were taken. Justin wearing a T-Shirt and having his arm tattoo visible indicate that he wasn’t filming or in character when the pics were taken. Fun pics though!

 
Below is the promo for the Winter finales of the TGIT shows tomorrow night. Also, there’s a new sneak peek with Meredith and Amelia that can be seen HERE.

On Saturday, Justin attended the “MaxMara & Allure Celebrate ABC’s #TGIT” event in Beverly Hills and was accompanied by his oldest daughter Isabella (20).

A few pics have been added to the gallery of Justin at the event with Isabella, and his Grey’s Anatomy co-stars Jessica Capshaw (with her husband Christopher Gavigan), Camilla Luddington, Kelly McCreary, and actress Liza Weil from fellow TGIT show How to Get Away with Murder.

ABC released more promotional pics from Thursday’s episode including the cafeteria scene that was unfortunately cut. Hopefully we’ll get to see it on the season 12 DVD set. A new still and BTS pic have been added to the album.

★ Next Thursday, the Grey’s episode is titled “Something Against You.” There is a sneak peek out that can be watched HERE. The synopsis for the episode and the ABC and the CTV promos are below.

“Something Against You – The team of doctors work on a high stakes case of a long time patient, adding additional pressure to an already tense environment. Meanwhile, Bailey wants Ben to kick out their new roommate, and Arizona is eager to get back into the dating world with a new wingman, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12 (8:00 – 9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

A couple of behind-the-scenes pics with Justin on the set of Grey’s Anatomy were posted recently.
This first pic was posted by Kelly McCreary (Maggie Pierce) and it shows Justin and Caterina Scorsone (Amelia Shepherd) on the set during episode 12.05 titled “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?”

 
The second pic was posted by Grey’s dolly grip, Daniel, and it’s from the upcoming Grey’s midseason finale, episode 12.08 “Things We Lost in the Fire”. Justin is in scrubs standing next to a gurney. This episode will air on November 19.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Hits 250 Episodes: Shondaland’s Betsy Beers Looks Back on 10 Years

First, what are you loving about Season 12?
Everybody is at this amazing crossroads. Meredith is trying to rebuild her life and navigate the sisters; Bailey (Chandra Wilson) is chief; Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) are having a rough go at it; I’m really loving Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Alex (Justin Chambers) trying to navigate their relationship; gosh, I want Owen (Kevin McKidd) to be happy; Arizona and Callie are where they are; I’ve got Maggie (Kelly McCreary) sitting there not knowing what the hell to do. I just want to see more and more and more of those situations play out.

Favorite character evolution?
I loved watching what’s happened with the chief because I feel like in a weird way, the chief has gone through personally more change than anybody else — he went from being just the chief to somebody who had this relationship with Meredith’s mother. I mean, the man has children he didn’t know about, he struggled with an addiction problem, he’s worked his way through being the head, he almost died. All of the characters have been through a lot, but I always come back to being rooted with the chief. And I think I’ve also always been really kind of fixated on Alex’s relationships and him finally getting to a place where he can finally have a good relationship with somebody. I’ve always loved Alex because Alex presents this tough and sarcastic [attitude], but there’s this moment early on with Izzie when he gives her a cupcake because he likes her and then he finds out that she actually has a thing for Denny and you can see his whole world fall apart. There’s something about Alex that I find just to be always compelling. I feel like there’s always something going on that you don’t know.
