It’s now officially confirmed! 🙂 Starting June 1st, Justin will begin shooting the indie comedy “Tan Lines” in Louisville, Kentucky. Justin will play the main character named Owen and this is the movie synopsis:
After being fired from the affluent country club for bad behavior, a former tennis star (Owen) takes a job at a public racquet club where he leads a ragtag group of oddball pros to a showdown against a rival team of his former co-workers.
“Cougar Town” actor Josh Hopkins will play Justin’s ex-boss and high school nemesis. Other cast members and a longer (and spoilerish) synopsis can be read at Insider Louisville.
The director of the movie, Tim Kirkman, has a Twitter account and also a blog where he has been detailing the pre-production work for the movie. Hopefully he’ll continue updating his Twitter and blog once they start shooting the movie. I’m also linking the movie’s Facebook page and Twitter below:

Although “Brake” (the thriller Justin was supposed to do last year but didn’t because the Grey’s Anatomy producers suck of scheduling conflicts with Grey’s Anatomy) was more my type of movie, “Tan Lines” sounds like fun and it’ll be great to see Justin play a completely different character from the one he plays on GA.
**Reminder that tonight is the (sure to be depressing) season finale of Grey’s Anatomy.
