Yes, the promo might be (probably is) misleading. That line from Bailey could be completely unrelated to Meredith (perhaps related to that outbreak). Even if Meredith does have the Alzheimer gene it doesn’t mean she will definitely develop the disease. It just means she would have a higher chance of developing Alzheimer’s than a person that doesn’t have the gene.
