This is monte Hale. One of my best friends. He was one of the 5 Singing Cowboys. He taught James Dean how to work a rope in the movie Giant. I’d play an old 78 record of his song Dig Dig Diggin every time I fed my kid Jack as a baby. He liked to eat to that song.
