★ Last week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy was supposed to include Alex and Jo’s engagement party but, unfortunately, it was cut from the episode. TVLINE reported that a source close to show said the scene was cut “for time” and the decision about relocating the sequence into one of Season 14’s remaining episodes is to be determined. I’m doubtful that will happen, and if it doesn’t, hopefully it’ll be part of the deleted scenes on this season’s DVD set.

Anyway, I added the photos that ABC released of Alex and Jo at their engagement party to the photo album with the promotional photos of episode 14.18 “Hold Back the River.”

“Beautiful Dreamer” – An agent from ICE shows up at Grey Sloan in search of an employee who may be working in the U.S. under DACA. Alex’s patient Kimmie wants to leave the hospital to enjoy her final days, but Alex feels differently. Meanwhile, Arizona treats Matthew Taylor’s baby and April wants to do whatever she can to help, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, APRIL 12 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

★ In an interview with Decider, actress Jeanine Mason, who plays intern Sam Bello on Grey’s Anatomy, talks about Justin.

So do the veteran cast members freak out when you tell them how old you were when you were watching the show for the first time?

Jeanine: I mean, Justin — I really have come to love Justin Chambers [the original cast member who plays Alex Karev]. What a wonderful man. He’s such an interesting dude, too. He has like 5 kids, he’s been with his wife since he was like 19. He’s just such a family man. And he’s the sweetest man, but every now and then I’ll say like, “My birthday is this weekend and I’m turning 27,” and he’ll be like, “Ugh. God. You’re a baby! My daughter is—” You know what I mean? He’ll have those kinds of moments. He’s the nostalgic one.

 
★ Last Thursday (Jan. 18), the day of the midseason premiere, Camilla Luddington took over the Grey’s Anatomy Instagram account, plus Kelly McCreary and Jesse Williams posted photos and videos from the set of the show.

Camilla posted this video as an Instagram story on the Grey’s account. In it she asks Justin this question: “Alex Karev has already tried proposing a million times to Jo Wilson. Be honest, is the diamond plastic?”💍

 
The following two videos were posted by Jesse as IG stories. First video shows Ellen Pompeo, who is directing episode 14.15, preparing to shoot a scene with Justin, Camilla and Kelly. Second video is the cast (Justin, Camilla, Kelly and Jesse) during a break with Justin eating a burger with gloves on because he’s a pro. 😎😂

★ I had already posted about The Hollywood Reporter doing a cast photo shoot to celebrate the 300th episode and asking them their favorite Grey’s Anatomy moment. That is all now in print and I added the magazine scans (including Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers’ full interview) to the photo archive. ABC and ABC Studios took out an ad to congratulate Grey’s and I added it to the archive, too.

★ In case you missed it, the last episode of Grey’s Anatomy: Post-Op interviews executive producer and co-showrunner, Krista Vernoff. She talks about episodes she wrote and returning in season 14.

The Hollywood Reporter visited the set of Grey’s Anatomy and did interviews and a photo shoot with the cast to celebrate the 300th episode milestone.

★ The 300th episode of Grey’s airs this Thursday!🎉 Entertainment Weekly chose it as the Must Watch of the Week, and in the article published, co-showrunner and writer of the episode, Krista Vernoff, says to look out for Easter eggs.

“I did my best to look back at our history and move our story forward simultaneously,” says Vernoff, who penned the hour, which was directed by fellow EP Debbie Allen. “I tried to honor the beloved char­acters who have come and gone during the 14 seasons of our show. I might not have hit all of them, but I paid some small ­tribute to most.”

“I also created a little Easter egg hunt for the avid fans,” Vernoff continues. “I don’t want to give too much away, but keep your eyes and ears peeled — and keep your tissues handy!”

★ I forgot to post this a couple of weeks ago, but here it is now. Actor Annie Wersching crossed paths with Justin at Prospect Studios and took this selfie with him joking that there would be a Grey’s Anatomy and Marvel’s Runaways crossover episode.

 
★ Two new episodes of the web series Grey’s Anatomy: Post-Op are out. In episode 5, there’s a behind-the-scenes look at Grey’s and interviews with Mimi Melgaard (costume designer), Thomas Houchins (costume supervisor), Linda Klein (supervising producer), Ryan Blank (props master), and Nicole Cramer (set decorator).

In episode 6, actor/director Kevin McKidd and actor Kelly McCreary are interviewed on set.
