Here is our first look at Justin on the season 9 set of Grey’s Anatomy. A fan by the name Haley paid a visit to the set of the show on Tuesday and posted a pic on Twitter and Facebook.
Haley’s FB comment:
justin chambers… omfgg. first person i met on set and by far the sweetest. talked about coming from across the country ugh he was awesome and so much hotter in person omg love him♥ best day ever, made my life.
Saying that Haley had a good time on set and enjoyed meeting Justin seems like an understatement. LOL
As we can see by Haley’s pic, in season 9, Dr. Alex Karev has graduated to wearing the navy blue scrubs the Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital attending/fellow surgeons use instead of the light blue scrubs the residents wear.

Love seeing him in the navy scrubs! Now I can’t wait to see what his scrub cap will be. π

We all knew it was going to happen but it’s sad that Alex will give up on the amazing opportunity and the “dream” that is going to Johns Hopkins because he feels guilty for something that is not his fault…
I already kinda hate that guilt storyline. What I’ve read on TWOP sounds like Arizona might lose her leg. So again, bad times ahead for Alex.
If at least they gave him a storyline that is solely about himself, instead this will be Callie/Arizona centric and Alex is once again more of margin character.
But yeah about the navy scrubs! That’s great.
I’m tired of guilt fueling Alex’s actions when he even shouldn’t feel guilty in the first place. So Alex will be in a “dark place” due to guilt? Been there, done that.It’s repetitive and shows the lack of originality the writers have for the character.
Don’t even get me started on Shonda’s comment about Alex needing to be a manwhore in season 9 because Mark won’t be around. π
That comment irritated me too, but it was overshadowed by my brain thinking ‘Omg, more screen time?! Omg!’ haha.
We’ll see if he actually does get more screentime and focus. Last season was supposed to be focused on the original characters but Shonda must have forgotten that Alex is one of the originals… just sayin’. But Alex getting a good storyline and a fair amount of screentime is long overdue. With 3 less regular characters he really should get more.
Alex finding his “person” got me excited but then I remembered Alex only goes for the crazy/sick/bitchy women. π π
