Before I get the usual Grey’s Anatomy update, here is a cute BTS video posted by Alex Landi on his Instagram of Justin and Ellen Pompeo meeting his dog Ninja last week.

I’ve added the screencaps from episode 15.05 of Grey’s Anatomy to the archive. The album link is below.

Also, actor Callan Farris, who played patient Rafi in this episode, posted this photo with Justin and thanked him for making him feel welcomed on set.

Lastly, this Thursday (Wednesday for CTV viewers) the episode of Grey’s that will air is titled “Flowers Grow Out of My Grave.” Check out the synopsis and promo:

“Flowers Grow Out of My Grave” – Meredith has a patient whose family is celebrating Day of the Dead, making the doctors remember loved ones they have lost. Richard shares unexpected news with Meredith about her father, Thatcher. Meanwhile, Teddy tries to tell Owen that she is pregnant but they get sidetracked, and Jo encourages Link to pursue one of the doctors, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, NOV. 1 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

theSkimm posted, as Instagram stories, a couple of videos and a pic of Justin when he shot his part for the No Excuses campaign, which encourages people to vote in the midterm elections (Nov. 6). Check them out below.

Justin posted his No Excuses video on his Instagram account too. It’s the same video as I had previously posted, but I’ll leave his post here too for the caption and important message (plus, there’s never enough of him and you should vote).

Kelly McCreary accepted Michelle Obama’s challenge and created a Grey’s Anatomy Voting Squad that includes cast (with a passionate Justin!), writers and producers as seen in the following video.

In a new video from the ‘No Excuses’ campaign, Justin explains why voting matters. This is the video’s caption:

My vote doesn’t matter: Not a valid excuse.

Think your vote won’t make a difference? That’s not true. And also not a good excuse. Shondaland star Justin Chambers from Grey’s Anatomy helped us explain why.

Now check out the video:

Instead of making a separate update, I’ll just leave this Instagram post here. It’s by Debra Davidson (former Grey’s Anatomy makeup artist) and she posted a pic with Justin with a lovely caption.

Grey’s Anatomy returns next Thursday, Oct. 25 on ABC (Wednesday on CTV) with episode 15.05 titled “Everyday Angel.” I previously added two promotional photos of Justin from this episode and they can be seen HERE. Below is the synopsis and promo for this episode.

“Everyday Angel” – Meredith reaches out to Teddy and helps her talk through some of her personal struggles. Owen and Amelia hide out near Betty’s school after she becomes a flight risk. Meanwhile, Jo wants to get to work on the fellowship, but Bailey’s attention is elsewhere, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, OCT. 25 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

On Tuesday, Justin and his co-star Camilla Luddington were on location shooting episode 15.08 of Grey’s Anatomy, which is the midseason premiere that will air on November 17.

When they weren’t working, they had some fun, and Camilla posted several Instagram stories of Justin waiting for his donut to be delivered, and the two of them playfully arguing about how they should pose for a pic together.
I tweeted all her IG stories for the JCO followers, and I’m posting the tweets here because they make sense in order. But all the pics have been added to the archive and can be seen in full-size in this album: On location in Los Angeles – October 16, 2018.

So, it all started with Justin waiting for a donut to be delivered to him 🍩…

And the final result is this pic posted by Camilla on her Instagram:

Voting for the People’s Choice Awards ends this Friday (Oct. 19), so keep voting for Justin in the The Male TV Star of the 2018 category at the PCA site HERE.

Hollywood Life interviewed Justin at The Rape Foundation’s annual brunch (Oct. 7) and asked him about his future on Grey’s Anatomy, and also what’s coming up for Alex.

While at the event, which honored celebrity guest Jennifer Garner, Justin Chambers talked about his future on the series, saying, “I honestly don’t know [how much longer I’ll do the show]. I play it year by year now. We’ll see — this year is all I am thinking about. We are almost halfway through [filming Season 15].”

If you’ve been watching the current season, then you should know that Justin’s character, Alex Karev, was recently named the new chief of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital — a position he’ll seemingly hold until Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) decides she wants to take her job back. Bailey gave it up so she could focus more on surgery and less on the daily stresses that come from being the chief. Anyway, when Justin spoke about what’s coming up for Alex later this season, he said, “Alex is still chief so….. goofiness happens. We will see where they go with all of this. We are happy that people are still watching!” And watching we are — after 15 seasons, Grey’s Anatomy is still one of ABC’s top-two rated drama series.

The screencaps from the most recent episode titled “Momma Knows Best” have been added to the archive.

By the way, there is no Grey’s this week. The show returns with episode 15.05 titled “Everyday Angel” on Oct. 25th.

Actress Stefania Spampinato, who plays Dr. Carina DeLuca, posted this BTS pic from episode 15.04 with Justin, Jaicy Elliot, Chris Carmack and Giacomo Gianniotti.

Shondaland and theSkimm have teamed up and launched the ‘No Excuses’ campaign design at inspiring millennial women to vote in the midterm elections on Nov. 6th.

According to People:

The 60-second videos — to be released every Tuesday until the election — will feature Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder actors Justin Chambers, Kelly McCreary, Karla Souza, Conrad Ricamora, Kevin McKidd and Aja Naomi King debunking “common excuses’” people use to not vote.

“Millennial women are the demographic most unhappy with the state of our government but, compared to all other demographic groups, they’re also telling us they’re least certain to vote this November,” the companies say in a statement.

Check out the first video of the ‘No Excuses’ campaign featuring Justin below.
