04/13/2019

I’ve been made aware by several people that there is a “Justin Chambers” contacting fans through Facebook Messenger (see messenger profile below). Problem is, it’s NOT JUSTIN.

Also, it is NOT someone from his team (personal assistant, manager, etc) and, despite this individual using the same pic from the JCO Facebook page, it is NOT the site either. It’s just someone trying to fool fans, so don’t let yourself be fooled.

Unfortunately, there are people who do these kinds of things for fun or worse. So, whether it’s this impersonator or any other one that may come about, be careful. BLOCK (and report when possible) the fake profile. Don’t give them personal information, don’t send them personal pics/videos, and don’t send them money even if they say it’s for a worthy cause/charity.

If there are any other questions or problems, you can leave a comment here at the site, or ask on twitter, or email me. I’ll try my best to answer and/or look into the matter. Stay safe.💜

Last Friday, ABC announced that Grey’s Anatomy has officially been picked up for season 15! It was already expected but still good to hear. The announcement also made it official that Grey’s now holds the record for the longest-running scripted primetime show on ABC. An impressive accomplishment that the show’s cast and crew should be very proud of. Congrats to all!👏👏

I added four photos of Justin in Beverly Hills last week to the photo archive.

Justin posted on his Instagram about the short film Corazón which is based on a real-life patient story, and written by his friend Kelley Sane. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and can now be watched at corazonfilm.com.

Well… Justin wasn’t in Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy so there are no screencaps to add. Check out the promo for the next episode titled “Back Where You Belong.” A couple of promotional photos can be seen HERE.

“Back Where You Belong” – Alex returns to the hospital and discovers a lot has changed since he left. Meanwhile, Jo has to make a difficult decision on a case, and Arizona tries to distance herself from Eliza, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network.

I’ve been forgetting to post about this, but here it is now. Giacomo Gianniotti (Dr. Andrew DeLuca) has once again organized a Grey’s Anatomy Tough Mudder to benefit My Friend’s Place, an organization that assists and inspires homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.

This year, you can create your own fundraising team and the teams that raise the most funds win prizes. If you don’t want to raise funds, you can also just make a donation. For more details about the fundraising contest, the prizes or to make a donation, go to: https://www.crowdrise.com/greysanatomytoughmudder

Watch this video in which Giacomo explains what the Grey’s Anatomy Tough Mudder is about. The LA Tough Mudder Half will be on Saturday, March 25th and the fundraising contest ends on March 16th at 11:59 pm ET.

Kevin McKidd, through his official site, has been raising funds for The Red Nose Day Fund which aims to lift kids from poverty around the world.

Today, May 26th, is Red Nose day and Kevin’s site tweeted this pic of Kevin and Justin with their red noses on. Check out Kevin’s crowdrise page at the link and donate to this worthy cause if you can. For every $10 donation, you will also have a chance to win prizes. 😊

Grey’s Anatomy actor, Jason George, is holding a fundraiser in which a fan can win a live-tweet hang-out with him on the day of the season 13 premiere of Grey’s (September).

The fundraiser is to support non-profit organization Multiracial Americans of Southern California (MASC) that celebrates multiracial identity in a racially inclusive world and advocates for and fosters multiracial community and identity.

The prize winner and a friend with be flown out to Los Angeles and will spend the day with Jason, visit the set and at the end of the day will be part of a private live-tweeting party. Flight and hotel expenses will be paid by Jason.

To enter the contest all you have to do is make a donation of at least $10. Supporting a great cause and possibly winning an amazing prize is a pretty sweet deal! 🙂

I haven’t finished screencapping Justin’s scenes in the season finale of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ yet, so I’m only updating with news, mentions and a fan pic.

The official program for the “Monte Carlo Television Festival” came out this week and confirmed that Justin and his ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ co-star Kevin McKidd will walk the red carpet on June 10th. For more info and to purchase tickets for the festival go to http://www.tvfestival.com/

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sandra Oh mentions a classic line Justin says every year. The link to the full interview is below and it’s an interesting read.

Farewell, Cristina: Sandra Oh and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ creator Shonda Rhimes say goodbye to a beloved character

SAYING GOODBYE

OH: Honestly, around season 8, the originals were under negotiations for two more years — till season 10. And in my mind, there was no possible way that our show could possibly go on [that long]. That’s also like a safety, in an actor way. Because it’s so unbelievable to have had a job this long. It’s so unbelievable that you just can’t [be sure]. ‘Will we get the pick-up?’ ‘Maybe we’ll get the pick-up!’ You still have to do it! Can I just tell you, since, I don’t know, season 1, the classic line that Justin Chambers says every year in, maybe, February — every single year — he just starts repeating this, ‘I just need two more years. Two more years. I just want two more years.’ He’s hilarious. But with that, I knew that it was going to take a long time to start letting go.

Several cast members live-tweeted during the airing of the season finale. Below are the tweets where Justin is mentioned. FYI, the last scene Sandra Oh shot with Justin that she’s referring to was the surgery scene with Cristina, Alex and Shane.

In a funny interview with “Dish Nation”, Sarah Drew played the game “Smash, Marry, Kick” and said that of her Grey’s co-stars she would ‘smash’ Justin because she loves him and he’s delightful in every single way. LOL The game starts at about 2:00 min into the video here: Sarah Drew From Grey’s Anatomy Talks About Hunky Co-Stars

And to end this update, here is a pic this lucky fan took with Justin on Thursday.

Our friend Amanda came up with the great idea of putting together a fan scrapbook for Justin’s 44th birthday. It’s a great way for fans to express to Justin how much he is appreciated and Justin Chambers Online is associating itself with the project.

Below is Amanda’s message on why she put together this project and her contact information (Tumblr and e-mail) for any suggestions/questions which can ALSO be left in the comments here at the site or sent to our Twitter at https://twitter.com/JChambersOnline

Because I’ve been seeing and feeling a lot of frustration with how little Justin and Alex are appreciated on Grey’s and since he doesn’t expose himself to the amount of recognition he deserves, I’ve decided to make a fan scrapbook for his 44th birthday on July 11th. I want this to be huge with tons of submissions, showing him how much we appreciate and notice his stellar acting. So, I’m starting early. Feel free to send any questions/ideas by email or to any of my tumblr accounts, chambered-heart and drevilkarev. Submissions should be sent to jcbirthdayproject@gmail.com. Let’s make this happen, fans, and spread the word!

Okay, so this what you need to submit to the e-mail given to be part of the fan scrapbook:

  • Name
  • Country
  • Short birthday message
  • Favorite Alex scene/Justin acting moment
  •
    Send to:
    jcbirthdayproject@gmail.com

NOTE: This project is open to participants from ALL COUNTRIES. If you have difficulty writing in english, you can submit in your native language and it’ll be translated.

Attention: The deadline for submissions is JUNE 20, 2014

Thank you to all who participate! 😀
