It is done!!! All 121 episodes of Grey’s Anatomy have been screencapped in one way or another (TV or DVD screencaps). I had to re-upload some of the already existing episode screencaps because the thumbnails weren’t appearing (probably because of the server change we did a while back) but I think I got it all now. If any images are missing from the gallery please leave a comment telling us which ones so that we can fix it. 🙂

The last 5 episodes of season 4 have been added now. Oddly enough the elevator scene in 4.17 isn’t on the DVD version of the episode 😕 so I slipped in screencaps of that scene from the cut that aired on TV.

I added another press junket interview for season 6 of Grey’s Anatomy. Wish we’d get interviews more often because Justin is a great at them. He’s nice to look at too.
Small note: most people will realise this but just so there’s no confusion, the press junket was held early on in season 6 so when Justin says “next year” he means this year and when he talks about hoping Alex and Izzie make it well, Katherine Heigl was still part of the show at the time.

Interesting episode for Alex this week and it was good to finally meet some of his family. Justin did great (as always 😉 ) and there are even mentions in the press about his portrayal of Alex today:

The way Justin Chambers plays Alex has always been nicely restrained — he’s never made Alex a great guy, or a guy with great judgment. Even the parts of Alex that are capable of kindness always act on it uncomfortably.

It’s a really nice bit, and Justin Chambers does a great job of staying understated while playing a whole lot of layers of emotion. He’s terrific in this episode, and I’m glad we get to see a little of his range aside from having to take care of Izzie.

6.19 – Sympathy For The Parents

Entertainment Tonight ran a small clip yesterday with Justin in his scrubs on the Grey’s set and he was commenting on Katherine Heigl having left the show. What he said is at the ET site:

ET has the first words from Katherine Heigl’s TV husband Justin Chambers since she confirmed that Izzy’s out!

“Katherine is very much loved,” Justin tells ET behind the scenes. “She’s a huge part of the show’s success.”

Before he was called back to the set for doctor duty, he added: “She’s always in our hearts and Izzy will always be a huge benefactor to the show.”

Kristin from E! interviewed Justin on the set of “Grey’s Anatomy” and they discussed this week’s episode where we finally meet someone from Alex’s family and learn more about his past. They also talk about Alex being like a yummy smore 😆 and his love life: past, present and future. Cool interview. Check it out:

There’s a brief mention in the press, not directly about Justin but related in a way. Actress/singer Demi Lovato is currently filming an episode of Grey’s Anatomy (set to air in May) where she will be playing Alex’s patient.

Demi Lovato is heading to Grey’s Anatomy for May sweeps, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The 17-year-old Disney star (Sonny With a Chance) will guest-star as a possibly schizophrenic patient being treated by Alex Karev (Justin Chambers).
