Five different topics in this update because I didn’t want to make five different updates (a couple of things I forgot to post in previous updates, so now they’re here. Oops).

ABC announced the season finale dates for its primetime shows, and the Grey’s Anatomy season finale will be on May 19th from 8:00-9:00 p.m.

The Grey’s Anatomy Tough Mudder Fundraiser for My Friend’s Place is still going on.
In a nutshell, several cast and crew members from Grey’s will participate in Tough Mudder to raise funds for the aforementioned organization that helps homeless youth. Every little bit helps and you can also win a visit to the set of Grey’s or a lunch with Giacomo Gianniotti (Dr. Andrew DeLuca) and other cast members.

Justin will not be doing Tough Mudder, but he has supported the cause by making a donation and also with the tweet below. To learn more about it and to make a donation, click on the CrowdRise link in the tweet.

TV Insider made a list of The 21 Hottest Couples on TV Right Now and Alex and Jo made the list. Check out what they said about them:

Alex and Jo (Grey’s Anatomy)
The mentor-intern relationship may seem like a cliché, but Alex (Justin Chambers) and Jo (Camilla Luddington) are undeniably meant to be. They both share similar hard-knock childhoods and career ambitions and are deeply committed to Seattle Grace patients. Jo’s relationship with the jealous Jason (Charles Michael Davis) ended in physical violence, but Alex’s protective nature kicked in. Hospital rules almost stopped him from being a couple, but Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) support meant they could continue being together.

Sarah Drew posted this selfie with Justin from the set of Grey’s last Thursday (March 31) when they were filming a scene for episode 12.22.

Love this guy! @officialjustinchambers

The Shondaland Revealed Podcast last week had Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery) as producer Betsy Beers’s guest. Naturally, they talked about the episode that had just aired, Grey’s and Justin was briefly mentioned.

The podcast can be listened to at Entertainment Weekly. Justin was mentioned during the answer to the question (at 17:30 min), “If you could be any other character on Grey’s, what would it be?”

Jesse: I like [Cristina Yang] and I always like… Karev is always the first one that comes to mind, too. Those are two of my favorite characters, I think.

Betsy: I was an early Karev supporter, just for the record. Talk about having a lot of crap thrown at him the first few seasons, too.

Jesse: Yeah.

Betsy: And once again, Justin Chambers, like one of the nicest people you will ever meet in your life.

Jesse: Yeah.

This week, the episode of Grey’s is titled “I Wear the Face.” Below is the synopsis and the promo for it. You can also watch a sneak peek of a scene between Meredith, Owen and Nathan at this LINK.

“I Wear the Face” – Meredith goes on an ambulance ride with Owen and Nathan to pick up a heart for a transplant patient. Musician & MS patient Kyle Diaz is admitted to Grey Sloan Memorial with a tremor in his hand, and the residents apply for the Preminger Grant. Meanwhile, Catherine continues to insert herself into Jackson and April’s business against Richard’s wishes, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, APRIL 7 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT) on the ABC Television Network.

Actress Taylor Blackwell, (she played Alex’s patient, Kelsey, that had the transplant in this week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy) gave an interview recently and mentioned Justin.

Young Actress Takes on the Role of Her Dreams

After being accepted to play the role on Grey’s Anatomy, Blackwell was able to begin working. She was able to interact with professions that had filming down to a science, and many stores were shared through experience.

“One of my favorite things about being an actress is the people you meet, and that was definitely one of the coolest things about being on the Grey’s Anatomy set,” Blackwell said. “I had a really nice conversation with Justin Chambers who plays Dr. Alex Karev about storytelling and career choices.”
