★ This Thursday is the Fall Finale of Grey’s titled “Blowin’ in the Wind,” and after that the show will go on hiatus until January 2019 (return date hasn’t been announced yet).
This is the episode Justin and Camilla Luddington had some BTS fun on location and posted pics that can be seen HERE. Below is the synopsis and the promo for the finale.

“Blowin’ in the Wind” – Seattle is hit by a huge wind storm and Grey Sloan becomes inundated with patients. Alex and Jo are stuck at home and decide to make the best of it by having a second honeymoon, while Meredith confronts Richard about getting his life back on track, on the winter finale of “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, NOV. 15 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

 
★ Also, actor Jake Borelli posted this BTS pic of himself with Justin, Jaicy Elliot, Rushi Kota, and Alex Landi from episode 15.03 “Gut Feeling.” It’s similar to a previous pic posted, but I’ll leave it here anyway because you can never have too much Justin.👍

★ This Thursday (Wednesday for CTV viewers), the episode is titled “Anybody Have a Map?” and the synopsis and promo can be seen below.

“Anybody Have a Map?” – Catherine is in Los Angeles getting the new foundation ready and summons Meredith and Koracick to visit for a highly confidential consult. Meanwhile, one of the nurses is 28 weeks pregnant and collapses at the hospital while talking to Richard, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, NOV. 8 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

★ Last Thursday night (Nov. 1), Justin attended the 18th Annual Debbie Allen Dance Academy Fall Soiree Fundraising Celebration held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.

★ Justin also gave a few interviews at the event. He spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about why he finds Debbie Allen, who has been an executive producer and director on Grey’s Anatomy for several seasons, awe-inspiring.

“I call her a beast, a beautiful beast. I’m around her a lot on set, we all are. And just to see her juggle so many things and do it with grace and compassion and passion. She’s a very passionate woman and I’m in awe of it. I’m really happy to be here and congratulate her on all of her successes. We’re grateful to have her as a part of our show.”

 
When it comes to Grey’s, he gave his thoughts about the eventual end of the show and his future on it to Us Weekly.

“It’s still going strong and as long as they keep writing the way that they do and people invest in these characters, the show could just keep going. It’s kind of crazy,” he told Us and other reporters on Thursday. “I deal with today and this season and I’m grateful and having fun.”

Last Saturday (Oct. 27), Justin and the cast of Grey’s Anatomy hosted a Halloween costume party at Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, CA.

Justin went as rock legend Jim Morrison, and besides his Grey’s co-workers, he had family and friends at the party. I added several photos of him to the album linked to below, and included ones from Grey’s writer Elisabeth Finch and set decorator Nicole Cramer.

Here are a few more party photos that were posted on Instagram. This first one is from Lindsay Wagner, who Grey’s fans surely recognize as Alex’s mother Helen Karev, and includes Justin’s wife and son (Keisha and Jackson, respectively) and Lindsay’s son (Alex).

 
James Pickens Jr.’s (Dr. Richard Webber) 64th birthday was on Oct. 26th and it was celebrated the next night at the Halloween party. Here’s a short video of James blowing out the candles on his cake with his wife and Justin standing next to him.

★ Lastly, this Thursday (Wednesday for CTV viewers) the episode of Grey’s that will air is titled “Flowers Grow Out of My Grave.” Check out the synopsis and promo:

“Flowers Grow Out of My Grave” – Meredith has a patient whose family is celebrating Day of the Dead, making the doctors remember loved ones they have lost. Richard shares unexpected news with Meredith about her father, Thatcher. Meanwhile, Teddy tries to tell Owen that she is pregnant but they get sidetracked, and Jo encourages Link to pursue one of the doctors, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, NOV. 1 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

On Tuesday, Justin and his co-star Camilla Luddington were on location shooting episode 15.08 of Grey’s Anatomy, which is the midseason premiere that will air on November 17.

When they weren’t working, they had some fun, and Camilla posted several Instagram stories of Justin waiting for his donut to be delivered, and the two of them playfully arguing about how they should pose for a pic together.

★ Hollywood Life interviewed Justin at The Rape Foundation’s annual brunch (Oct. 7) and asked him about his future on Grey’s Anatomy, and also what’s coming up for Alex.

While at the event, which honored celebrity guest Jennifer Garner, Justin Chambers talked about his future on the series, saying, “I honestly don’t know [how much longer I’ll do the show]. I play it year by year now. We’ll see — this year is all I am thinking about. We are almost halfway through [filming Season 15].”

If you’ve been watching the current season, then you should know that Justin’s character, Alex Karev, was recently named the new chief of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital — a position he’ll seemingly hold until Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) decides she wants to take her job back. Bailey gave it up so she could focus more on surgery and less on the daily stresses that come from being the chief. Anyway, when Justin spoke about what’s coming up for Alex later this season, he said, “Alex is still chief so….. goofiness happens. We will see where they go with all of this. We are happy that people are still watching!” And watching we are — after 15 seasons, Grey’s Anatomy is still one of ABC’s top-two rated drama series.

By the way, there is no Grey’s this week. The show returns with episode 15.05 titled “Everyday Angel” on Oct. 25th.
