★ The Shondaland Revealed Podcast last week had Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery) as producer Betsy Beers’s guest. Naturally, they talked about the episode that had just aired, Grey’s and Justin was briefly mentioned.

The podcast can be listened to at Entertainment Weekly. Justin was mentioned during the answer to the question (at 17:30 min), “If you could be any other character on Grey’s, what would it be?”

Jesse: I like [Cristina Yang] and I always like… Karev is always the first one that comes to mind, too. Those are two of my favorite characters, I think.

Betsy: I was an early Karev supporter, just for the record. Talk about having a lot of crap thrown at him the first few seasons, too.

Jesse: Yeah.

Betsy: And once again, Justin Chambers, like one of the nicest people you will ever meet in your life.

Jesse: Yeah.

 
★ This week, the episode of Grey’s is titled “I Wear the Face.” Below is the synopsis and the promo for it. You can also watch a sneak peek of a scene between Meredith, Owen and Nathan at this LINK.

“I Wear the Face” – Meredith goes on an ambulance ride with Owen and Nathan to pick up a heart for a transplant patient. Musician & MS patient Kyle Diaz is admitted to Grey Sloan Memorial with a tremor in his hand, and the residents apply for the Preminger Grant. Meanwhile, Catherine continues to insert herself into Jackson and April’s business against Richard’s wishes, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, APRIL 7 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT) on the ABC Television Network.

On April 14th, ABC will air two new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy (episodes 12.18 & 12.19) from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. I added the promotional photos that feature Justin to the gallery. Below is the album link as well as the synopsis for each episode.

ABC released the promotional photos for the Grey’s Anatomy episode airing on March 31st titled “When It Hurts So Bad.” Below is the synopsis for the episode and the link to the album with the ten photos that feature Justin.

“When It Hurts So Bad” – Meredith takes a step forward with Will but quickly regrets it; Maggie senses a disconnection with Andrew; and Amelia reevaluates her relationship with Owen. “I Am Not Waiting Anymore” – Jackson learns about April’s pregnancy, while Alex and the team of doctors handles an hours-long triple-organ transplant surgery. Meredith considers dating again, and Andrew insists on not receiving special treatment after he and Maggie go public, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, MARCH 24 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT) on the ABC Television Network.

★ Some of the Grey’s Anatomy cast and crew will be participating in TOUGH MUDDER on April 17th to raise funds for the non-profit organization My Friend’s Place that helps the homeless youth of Los Angeles.

★ Jessica Capshaw (Dr. Arizona Robbins) was the guest on the most recent edition of the Shondaland Revealed podcast. She called Justin her “work husband” and talked a bit about them working together. Below is a transcript of the part where she mentions Justin. The podcast can be listened to at Entertainment Weekly.

Note: Jessica says “like” “and” “you know” quite often, so I eliminated some of those instances to make this easier to read. lol

For some reason it’s like actor kryptonite, but it’s just as soon as you realize that you’re flubbing a line, messing up a line or really flat out just don’t know a line, it’s just never not funny. It’s always the funniest thing ever, and then pretty much the slew of expletives that come out of your mouth right afterwards ends up making everybody else laugh. And then sometimes you get these lines… I mean, Justin and I, he’s like my work husband, you know. I just love him so much and we work together all the time. We kind of know each other in a specific way, and it’s so easy, and he can sort of say anything to me. But often times, like we’ll get a line that’s not easy to say in the moment, where like… it’ll be just like Alex is about to do something and Arizona has to say “No, Alex”, and sometimes I’ll get completely caught up in how to say “No, Alex!” and it’ll come out like that instead of like authentic. It’ll come out really, really forced and like “Noooo!” And he literally will look at me and be like “You gotta stop that. What are you doing?” So then we’ll sort of dissolve and then I have to get it back together again.

“All Eyez On Me” – Meredith, Bailey, Jackson, Callie and Jo travel to a military hospital to perform an extraordinary and extremely risky surgery on a veteran with an advanced tumor. Meanwhile back at Grey Sloan, Andrew is tired of being Maggie’s worst kept secret; Ben makes an impulsive surgical decision; and a team of cheerleaders wreak havoc in the ER, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, MARCH 10 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST) on the ABC Television Network.

★ Here’s another BTS pic from the midseason premiere of Grey’s Anatomy (episode 12.08 “The Sound of Silence”). In it we see director Denzel Washington and Justin at the door holding young actress Aniela Gumbs’s (Zola Shepherd) hand. This is the scene where Alex brings Meredith’s kids to the hospital to visit her.
