Yesterday, Justin took his five kids to the Nintendo launch of the all new “Donkey Kong Returns” for Wii. A few small pics of Justin at the event with his kids and talking to actress/singer Ashley Argota have been added to the gallery.

I also hope you dug Alex in the bar at the end when he imitates her scream at Owen. “MOVE OR I’LL RUN YOU DOWN.” There’s this thing that happens when you write dialogue into a script – you can hear in your head just how you think the actor will say it. Sometimes you’re right. Other times you’re completely surprised (and usually pleasantly) by how differently they decide to interpret the words. With this line, though? Justin Chambers did EXACTLY what I’d hoped he would. Except he did it about a billion times funnier.

By the way, I don’t know about you, but I am now FULLY in love with Alex Karev. I mean, I kinda already was in love with him, but now I really, really am. When he’s singing to Lily in the MRI booth??? I mean, COME ON. (Side Note: Justin actually has a really good voice, so he practiced for weeks before we shot this scene to make himself sound more like a guy who wasn’t really a singer, but who was really trying to sing. Adorable.)

Adorable, indeed.

Promotional stills for episode 7.08 “Something’s Gotta Give” have been added to the gallery.

“Something’s Gotta Give” – Top security measures go into place as a team of doctors, led by the Chief, try to save the life of a major political figure from the Middle East. Meanwhile Cristina decides to finally decorate her new place and throw a housewarming party, and Alex shows up late from a weekend getaway to his first day of rounds with the new Pediatrics Attending, Dr. Phil Stark (guest star Peter MacNicol), on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

7.08 – Something’s Gotta Give

I finally got around to reorganizing the Photoshoot category at the gallery. I had some difficulty deciding how to split things up and so, for now, everything up till the Calvin Klein Contradiction and Club Monaco campaigns from 2000 is in the ‘The Modeling Days‘ sub-category, everything after that is in ‘The Acting Days‘ sub-category. It isn’t an accurate split (Justin already had acting credits in the mid-90’s) but it makes it easier for me to manage and sort through the different types of images there.

7.05 – Almost Grown

Next Thursday airs episode 7.06 “These Arms of Mine” and although Us Weekly gave it a negative review, they give Justin (and Sandra Oh) props.

Outside of Justin Chambers (as the reinvigorated Alex) and the superlative Sandra Oh (still traumatized Cristina), it’s not easy to watch these emotionally stunted docs continue to stumble through their lives.
